I am looking for other musicians interested in progressive music. My approach to guitar is unusual. It focuses on textures, ambient sound beds, and looping. Moody, atmospheric, mysterious, haunting, Eastern, are all tones I aspire too. I also fool around with spoken word and samples layered over the top of the sonic soundscape. My dream ensemble would include a percussionist, bass, turntablist, horn, cello, vocals. Keys would also work if sparse, minimalism is considered. This project would utilize song structures that are fluid and allow for a lot of improv. I imagine performing this music in galleries, churches, halls, airports but not in bars and clubs.
