Avalon Nine Trio to Perform Roots of Folk & Americana Music

Celebrate the roots and branches of folk and Americana music with the Avalon Nine Trio Sunday October 10 from 3 to 5 pm. With sparkling vocal harmonies and intricate instrumental backup, Linda Blaine, David Clutter, and Brian Szuch will perform tunes by iconic songwriters such as John Prine, Gillian Welch, Joni Mitchell, Nanci Griffith, and others. The program is sponsored by the Columbus Folk Music Society. Since the show will take place at the outdoor patio of El Vacquero restaurant, 3230 Olentangy River Road, you’ll be able to purchase and enjoy delicious Mexican food as you enjoy the music. A donation bucket will be passed, with suggested contributions of $10 to $15. Proceeds will help produce next May’s Central Ohio Folk Festival.
