Jack Balthazar is able to envision, design, produce, and install all matter of inspired decor and execute complete space transformations for 200+ events annually across the US, and internationally. Job Description The Décor Associate assists the Floral and Décor teams with the internal organization and maintenance of the décor department, as well as assisting with the installation and strike-down of special events. Responsibilities Set up and takedown of equipment / decor at event sites Fresh flower processing, cleaning / prepping vessels, prepping / packing florals and décor for transport Pull, clean, prep, organize and pack décor from inventory for upcoming events Unpack, check in and re-organize décor returning from events Maintain décor department inventory by accounting for lost / damaged items and replenishing stocked supply needs Maintain cleanliness of décor area and showroom, including taking out trash, sweeping, watering plants, and daily aisle checks to make sure the aisles are clear Drive company vehicles safely to perform deliveries and pickups – ability to drive 14’ and 26’ trucks is a plus! Requirements Clean DMV record with valid California driver’s license Professional and confident interacting with VIP clientele, venues, and vendor partners Able to communicate effectively Must be able to follow instructions – including driving directions and maps with accuracy and consistency Strong work ethic - honest, dependable and hard working Must be able to lift up to 50+ pounds and be able to stand and work for extended periods – strength and stamina a must Team player with positive attitude Must be able to work evening, weekends, and holidays as needed Experience in the Event Industry is a plus!
