Job description PV Solar Installer About the role: We are seeking a Lead Solar Installer to build a 100 KW project in Bloomingdale, NJ. Can start immediately. $25-35+ per hour for the right individual. Must be able to work on pitched roofs. Potential for long-term career opportunity beyond this project for the right individual. Stipend for tolls and company will pay for lodging if needed. Responsibilities: -Assembles and installs solar photovoltaic systems on rooftops, canopies, and ground mounts -Plans & maps solar installations based on projects’ site plans & schematics -Installs racking systems including roofing penetrations, shingle flashed footings, rails, and clamps -Measures & cuts rail -Attaches PV modules and microinverters to racking systems -Basic electric wiring of PV arrays -Maintains an inventory of tools and materials in both warehouse and fleet -Captures photographs of job sites to assure quality assurance and completion of projects -Maintains a clean and safe job site at all times Qualifications and Skills: -Strong work ethic -Experience using hand-held power tools -Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions -Ability to ascend/descend a ladder and rooftop -Professional and disciplined demeanor -Professional organizational competencies (detail-oriented, prepared, punctual) -Keen attention to detail, accuracy, and completeness -Patience, service-oriented attitude, and the ability to work well with all levels of internal leadership and staff -Desire to grow with company preferred Compensation & Benefits: -$23-28 per hour with 2+ years relevant experience -$28-35 per hour for 5+ years relevant experience -Opportunities for overtime -PTO, Paid Holiday, Health Dental and Vision Insurances -Career opportunities for high-value employees
