Premium Plumbing in Tampa, FL is looking to hire a full-time Construction Plumber Assistant to assist our more experienced plumbers while continuing to learn the trade. Our projects range from fast-food chains to hotels and townhouse/condo projects. This Construction Plumber Assistant position earns a competitive wage of up to $18.00/hour, depending on experience, plus bonuses. Overtime pay is available, and we pay weekly! A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CONSTRUCTION PLUMBER ASSISTANT As a Construction Plumber Assistant, you are eager to learn! You ask questions, observe, and emulate the values we adhere to here at Premium Plumbing. You go out in the field and help fit pipes, dig ditches, clean dirt and oil from pipes, mount brackets, measure pipes, and cut pipes as well as bring tools and materials to plumbers. As you assist them, they mentor and train you on everything from how to talk with customers to how to properly install pipes. You are a hard worker who does whatever is asked of you and pays close attention to what you're being taught. You enjoy interacting with customers and fellow employees. You also spend some of your time taking classes and continuing to expand your knowledge and skills. QUALIFICATIONS FOR A CONSTRUCTION PLUMBER ASSISTANT 2 years of plumbing experience Clean driving record with a valid driver's license Ability to pass a background check and drug test Ability to travel daily to and from Tampa office to job sites throughout the area Commercial plumbing experience is preferred but not necessarily required.
