Learn about the process of fermentation as well as examples of delicious dishes you can make from fermented foods. Join us for the October installment of Wyck's Home Farm Foodways series, which includes weekly farm workdays and monthly skill-building workshops at Wyck. In this session, culinary historian Gregory Funk will lead participants in a hands-on demonstration of fermentation using produce grown fresh on Wyck's home farm. In addition to exploring the process of fermentation, Funk will also discuss the various recipes and dishes you can create from your fermented foods! This session will include samples and recipes for participants to take home with them. This workshop will take place at Wyck (6026 Germantown Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19144). We will gather in the education building next to the Walnut Lane entrance.
