Trade-In your reclined infant sleeper to get a variety of items! Trade in your Rock n Play or other recalled infant sleep product for gift cards & prizes!October 12, 2021 from 3:00pm to 7:00 pm, Front Loop of Columbus Public Health at 240 Parsons Avenue. This is a Drive-Thru Event. Please wear a mask. In April 2019, Fisher Price announced a recalled of all 4.7 million Rock ‘n Play Sleepers in circulation after reports of infant deaths in the device. Since this recall, all inclined infant sleep products have been recalled for the same safety concern. Despite being recalled, inclined infant sleep products remain popular with parents and are still used in many homes or sold at secondhand stores and yard sales. As long as these products remain in use, they continue to be a threat to babies. To encourage parents and caregivers to give up these unsafe devices, we are hosting a “trade-in” event at Columbus Public Health. If you turn in one of the unsafe/recalled inclined sleep products, we can give you something in return. The first 65 attendees will receive a gift card to a local store. Gift bags with other infant/child items also available as supplies last. Portable cribs & car seats are also available at the event.
