Join me for an introduction to reading tarot cards. Learn to connect with the cards intuitively and discover what they can add to your life. This three-class series will be an in-person class that will run on Sundays October 10th, October 17th and October 24th, 12:30-2:30pm MST at Goddess Isis Books and Gifts in Denver, Colorado. Join me to learn how incredibly useful and insightful tarot can be. Tarot cards are powerful tools that connect you with your intuition and support self-exploration and self-awareness. I regularly hear people worrying that tarot will predict a scary and undesirable future. This is a common misconception and does not describe how the cards really function. For me, tarot cards reveal the energetic templates of our experiences and promote the remembrance that we can make choices to redirect and reshape energy. With this approach, the cards become a way to bring into conscious awareness the subtle factors that are at work in our lives and they act as a reminder that we can participate in designing our own destiny. This introductory level, three-class series will guide you toward experiencing the magic of tarot cards! The series will provide the foundational knowledge needed for you to develop a life-long, individual and intuitive relationship with the cards. Expect to learn: Tarot definitions and historyAnatomy of a deckElement and numerology associationsTarot care, etiquette and ethicsBasic spreads (card configurations)Basic reading methods with an emphasis on trusting intuitionNo previous experience with tarot is needed. You will need a deck of Rider-Waite-Smith tarot cards for our classes. $80 per person for the three-class series Tracey Lanham, Shakti Witch, is a trained and certified tarot card reader, an energy healer, a yoga teacher, a mudra teacher and mudra therapist and a space-holder for ritual. She has years of training and embodied practice in tarot, yoga, devotion, ritual, Goddess & Priestess lineages, Paganism, divination and magick.
