The Healing Journey will incorporate worship, teaching, and prayer—with a focus on opening ourselves to the healing work of God's Spirit.
You have probably noticed that Healing is a Journey. Like most things in life the journey is the destination. What is Jesus teaching us along the way? Some of the work he does in us is deliberately slow and then there is a bend in the road and a vista opens up and there he is. Healing us, restoring us, forgiving, encouraging, loving us in the most profound and often unexpected way. The love poured out is so profound and fills us with such joy that we want to hang on to it, remember it, be grateful for it.
That is what we are praying for you, that the Healing Journey will be a vista for you, wherever you are in your journey in life of being loved and shaped by Jesus.
At the Healing Journey we pray with the Psalmist when he instructs us to 'Seek the Lord'... and know that He will 'answer us and deliver us from all our fears', all of our troubles....because 'when the righteous cry for help, the Lord hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles' (a slightly paraphrased Psalm 34:4, 17).
We don't know what the Lord will have for you but we are praying with you for whatever the work is he will do in your life at the Healing Journey 2021. We invite you as Jesus does to 'Come and See.'
