Live music, food trucks, and a local artisan market. All ages welcome. Donations appreciated but not required. Join us for a concert extravaganza celebrating 13 years of Titwrench Collective history! With live performances by:Nacha Mendez guitarist and award-winning singer/songwriter Nacha Mendez is based in Santa Fe, New Mexico. She will perform her singular style of Latin World music with a trio featuring oud, cajon, congas, guitar, and her unique vocal stylings The Milk Blossoms heartfelt experimental pop trio Machete Mouth afro-futurist bluesMy Name is Harriett electroacoustic violin/vocals Sol Vida Worldwide movement activationFood trucks and kid-friendly activities will be included in the festivities, as well as an artisan market inside the City Park Pavilion led by Witch Collective. This will be an outdoor event and we encourage all attendees to demonstrate community care by wearing a mask as needed and being vaccinated, if possible. This year’s festival programming for TITWRENCH was generously funded by a grant from Denver Music Advancement Fund, awarded by the office of Denver Arts and Venues. Additional sponsors include RESIST Foundation, Brian Quinette, Rainbow Dome, and our community-at-large. Background Since 2008, Titwrench Collective has been showcasing experimental and underrepresented music and performance, in a wide variety of genres. This event is our final installment and last event as a collective. TITWRENCH is a volunteer-run organization driven by values of experimentation, equity, and accessibility. Our events features both emerging and advanced artists, pushing boundaries of genre and form. We are dedicated to amplifying feminist and queer perspectives, creating community and curating events featuring new, emerging and experimental music and performance. Our programs also include educational workshops, dance parties, and other community gatherings. We believe that music and art should be accessible and inclusive of all ages, gender identities and communities and we are actively working to create inclusive, fun, safe spaces for all participants of our events.
