Artful Walking Meditation and Yoga at Helmer Nature Center
Let's celebrate Early Fall with a walking meditation and yoga practice outdoors! Our morning will begin with a brief meditation and a little mindful movement. We will then wander through the Helmer Nature Trail looking for and gathering signs of fall such as pine cones, twigs, leaves and maybe some natural items you'd like to bring from home! We will stop for yoga and a longer mediation once we reach a clearing. To culminate our event we will create a whimsical nature weaving to leave behind. No meditation or yoga experience required. Bring a smile and open heart.
What to wear: Please bring your yoga mat. You might also want to bring a towel or cushion to sit on for meditation and wear comfortable shoes and clothing that allows for movement. **You can bring flowers from your garden or other natural items you might like to include in our nature weaving.
Where to meet: We will gather in the parking lot of Helmer Nature Center. Please go to the far end of the parking lot by the grey house.
