I am a NYS certified teacher in Elementary Education grades 1-6. I currently am a first grade teacher in Queens, NY and I reside in Long Island. I am passionate about teaching, especially within the area of reading. I am available for Reading, Phonics & Literacy tutoring in person and remotely. I create individualized lessons for each student based on their needs and areas of struggle. I have tutored and have been a teacher in Kindergarten and First grade since 2015. I am available to help support your child’s needs either in person or remotely. I am trained in Wilsons Fundations, which is an amazing phonics program that helps students decode, encode, build fluency, as well as read on their grade level. I also teach guided reading & will be able to target your students reading needs by testing their reading level using the Fountas & Pinnell reading assessment. I support all areas of reading that are specific to your child’s needs including Phonemic Awareness, Phonics, Fluency, Vocabulary, Comprehension, Handwriting & also Writing. Per session rate: $100 for in-person / $75 for online/remote. Session details: 60-minute instructional sessions. All remote sessions use Google Meet. I am fully vaccinated. I am available to come to your home or local library in Nassau County.
