Afternoon Bird Walk and Information Join us for an afternoon bird walk on Randall's Island with environmental educator, ecologist, and urban naturalist Gabriel Willow. Gabriel is an experienced birder in NYC and beyond. Starting at the Urban Farm we will explore the Island's bird life. All ages are welcome. Please think about joining us earlier in the day for our annual Harvest Festival from 12:00-3:00pm. We will start the day with a bird walk starting at 9:00am from the 103rd street bridge (Island side). Feel free to join us for the morning walk as well, please register for that walk separately. Suggested equipment: binoculars, we will have a few to loan; apps: ebird and inaturalist (if you are unfamiliar with these apps please stop by the Natural Areas Table between 12-3pm to learn more about how they work and the benefits).
