Resuming IN PERSON tours this fall on Halloween weekend, there will be tricks and treats at seven of Dallas’ most significant cemeteries.
Join us on our Fall Tour and safely explore at Dallas’ most notable cemeteries. With tour stops around the city, you will be able to see a vast array of timeless landscapes abundant with historic grave markers, mausoleums and statuary. You do not want to miss this on Halloween weekend! The tour will be a one day showcase of some of the most famous burial sites in Dallas including multitudes of local architects, business leaders, baseball players, some good guy and some bad guys.
The day will begin at the Hillcrest Mausoleum with check in and a discussion highlighting cemetery history, evolution and the built environment. This entire day will be filled with beautiful structures and stories all in the great outdoors. You do not want to miss it! Check in for the tour begins at 8:30 a.m. The symposium begins at 9 a.m., and cemeteries are open 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Attendees are REQUIRED to check in at Hillcrest Mausoleum. Face masks are required for the symposium at Hillcrest Mausoleum.
The tour includes the symposium and tour at Hillcrest Mausoleum as well as seven cemetery tour stops at Freedman's Memorial, Greenwood, McCree, Oak Cliff, Oakland, Temple Emanu-El and
Western Heights Cemeteries. Tickets are $30 for Preservation Dallas members and $40 for the public. Reservations are required and non refundable.
