Schawaya Raie and Friends, “A Christmas Benefits Celebration” is a brainchild of Schawayna Raie, a national inspirational recording artist. Schawaya Raie and Friends, “A Christmas Benefits Celebration” is a brainchild of Schawayna Raie. Schawayna Raie, a national inspirational recording artist, is always trying to find a way to give back to the community so she figured, “why not use my talent to raise money!” She gathered many friends with various talents to put on an amazingly talented variety show within two weeks. 2013 was the first year putting on this show and it was no different than most of her ideas; spontaneous, very detailed, elaborate, but most importantly; heart felt. Year to date Schawayna Raie and Friends has raised over $5,000.00 for local not-for-profits. Yearly a not-for-profit is selected and this year’s beneficiary is Phalen Academy. This year Schawayna Raie and Friends will be a “Ladies Edition.” That’s right, all women on the stage sharing their craft and encouraging our viewers! Excited and honored are understatements! It will be held and taped Sunday, December 12, 2021 at 5:00pm – 8:00pm. If you are available and interested to sponsor or participate, please fill out requested information below. Donations: All donations (that are not accompanied by a ticket) will help with production costs.  This years proceeds will benefit Phalen Leadership Academies. Schawayna Raie is a Recording Artist that happens to sing Inspirational Music with a hint of God. She has been stated to be the Jill Scott of Gospel with her Neo-Soul/Jazzy sound. Her music is so smooth that you forget that she is singing about God.
