Female White Robo Dwarf hamster for adoption, $30 adoption fee. Her name is Pepper, and if you plan on changing that, just don't even contact me. She's roughly the size of a golf ball. She's very shy and skittish, she doesn't like to be touched, held, fed by hand, stared at, etc. For instance, if you stare at her while she's running in a wheel, she'll stop dead in her tracks. You basically just have to be polite. If you hold her, make sure that you cup your hands so that she doesn't jump if she is startled. In the event that she does jump out of your hands, or otherwise get free from you or her cage: She pauses here and there while running away, when she pauses quickly and carefully cover her with your hand or some other bowl shaped item. Bug nets work wonderfully for recapturing her, as they tend to have a wide radius, and are very gentle. She enjoys dried corn, dried fruit, and cheerios quite a bit as treats. She should have a diet of hamster food, accompanied by small portions of fruit and/or vegetables. Try to limit her access to sunflower seeds to treats only, as sunflower seeds are very addictive to all animals and can cause them to stop eating all of their other food as a result.
