On Halloween-eve, Hermann Farm is pleased to present a spirited evening featuring renowned history interpreter Anne Williams, who will perform some of Edgar Allen Poe’s best known works, including selections from The Black Cat, The Tell-Tale Heart, The Raven, The Oval Portrait and Annabelle Lee.
The evening will begin at 6pm with a tram ride through the farm to our new stone barn, where we will have Black Shire cocktails and Tin Mill beer available for purchase along with food from area food trucks.
At 7pm, the performance will begin and when it wraps, guests may go on a guided lantern tour of the Rasche house and tour Black Shire’s distillery and rickhouse. We’ll have a bonfire going and cocktails, snacks and sweets will be served at the Black Shire tasting room to close out the night.
Adults only, please.
