Description

Colorful Perennials for Central Florida Tropical Perennials Wednesday, October 6th 10:00-12:00 p.m. Instructor: Robert Bowden If you’ve dreamed about creating an exotic vacation look at home, but wanted to reduce your yearly investment in annuals, consider pairing them with tropical perennials that come back every year. Tropical landscaping with perennial plants is surprisingly easy. Join the Leu Gardens’ Executive Director, Robert Bowden, in a fun filled presentation on growing tropical perennials.  He can help you choose plants in a variety of sizes to fill your borders with lively interest to create that tropical effect you have been looking for.  A leisurely stroll through gardens will follow the indoor presentation.  Participants must withdraw from classes at least five days prior to the start of class in order to receive a full refund or credit. If we must cancel a class, we will make every effort to inform you prior to the class time, and you will receive a full refund or credit. Only those registered for the class will be permitted in the classroom. Childcare services are not provided. Beautiful Harry P. Leu Gardens is a 50-acre botanical oasis minutes north of downtown Orlando. Each individual garden is designed to further our mission: promote the awareness and understanding of plants. Harry P. Leu Gardens offers a wide array of classes and events for horticulture, landscaping and fine arts for children and adults. Located at 1920 N. Forest Avenue, Orlando FL, 32803.
