Plein Air Painting in Beautiful Leu Gardens Saturday, October 9, 2021 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Instructor: Lenee Peterson Class will focus on rendering a piece in a few hours time, color theory and mixing, and painting without strict academic outlines. Items to bring: sketchbook/paper to paint on AS WELL AS something to hold paper (like a clipboard!), medium of choice (I recommend watercolor or acrylic paints!), paint pallet, paint brushes (small to medium, but ultimately depends on the size of the piece!), water cup to clean brushes, towel or blanket to sit on as desired, sunscreen! What instructor will have as well: tape, paper towels, pencils, extra watercolor paper for demos, extra water cups, extra brushes, tracing paper to protect pieces, scissors (all available for use by students!) Lenee’ Peterson is a 4th year student currently studying for a BFA in art and the University of Central Florida and transferred from the Ringling College of Art and Design as an illustration major. Lenee’ is a painter and illustrator, focusing on capturing the everyday magic of color in light. Lenee’ has taught at the Drawing Pointe in Valrico, FL as well as a seasonal art teacher at Super Awesome Cool Pottery in Orlando, FL. Continuing Education Units (CEUs) are available to FNGLA Certified Professionals upon request. Participants must withdraw from classes at least five days prior to the start of class in order to receive a full refund or credit. If we must cancel a class, we will make every effort to inform you prior to the class time, and you will receive a full refund or credit. Only those registered for the class will be permitted in the classroom. Childcare services are not provided Beautiful Harry P.
