Description
Heath Sanders Unplugged with special guest Sarah Cecil and Ryan Harmon. Join us for an amazing night of live music in downtown Little Rock! Heath Sanders is an Arkansas natural gas-worker-turned-songwriter whose realness informs the music he crafts. It all started after Heath posted on Facebook his cover of Chris Stapleton’s “Either Way” in early 2018. The video filmed in his living room would quickly transform his life as millions watched and re-shared, making Heath an overnight viral sensation among the working class communities in the Midwest and Rust Belt. Drawing upon a lifetime of early mornings and long days, Heath emerges as the new voice of folks who identify with hard work and have the sore backs and tired feet to show for it. Despite the rich culture in the Ozark Mountains few where he grew up ever thought of music as a livelihood, yet his COMMON GROUND collection (The Valory Music Co.), available now, is full of material that ranges from sensual ballads to who-I-am statements and reminders of the unifying characteristics we all have. His Common Ground EP is available now on all digital platforms. Ryan Harmon is a 25-year-old Arkansas native (“Lamar By-Golly Arkansas,” to be more specific) who became an instant internet hit, after his performance of his original song “I Knew This Would Happen,” during an audition for season 3 of ABC’s American Idol in March 2020. The video of his audition has racked up over 10 million views on Facebook and over 1.5 million views on YouTube, with thousands of viewers echoing the advice of celebrity judges Lionel Richie, Katy Perry and Luke Bryan for Harmon to set his sights on Nashville, as opposed to Hollywood. Sarah Cecil is a 17-year-old singer and guitarist from Little Rock, Arkansas. She plays solo acoustic. She covers hit songs from several genres including country, pop, pop punk, and classic rock. Sarah got her first guitar at the age of 6, but was inspired to begin performing after seeing Taylor Swift in concert in October of 2011. She played an open mic night at a local restaurant a few weeks later. Sarah had a natural stage presence and a passion for music. She played her school talent show and open mics to gain more stage experience. It wasn't long before she started playing festivals, fundraisers, and even booked her first gig.
