We are a small private chef and catering team looking for a reliable, talented and seasoned chef who can help with taking out Private Chef dinner parties, prep and some Sonoma/Napa County catering gigs. We offer high end, French/California, scratch, haute cuisine for vacation rentals and small wedding/winery parties. We travel within Sonoma, Napa, Marin and San Francisco, 95% Napa/Sonoma. Great opportunity to expand your culinary talents from the restaurant to a single table per night and showcase your talent! This is part time and on call position. Must have: Good DMV -Reliable vehicle. (Drive time to events and dinner parties are paid). -Well groomed -Passion for great hospitality and service. -Own your equipment: Pots, pans and knives. (We do loan these too) -Professional and friendly demeanor. -Our team entertains: Chef must have the ability to chat with guests and give cooking tips while preparing in the client's kitchen with a smile. -Be quick, clean, and safe. -Work as a team with servers. -Willing to travel upt to 1 or more to a dinner party. -Take charge in a kind leadership role. -Be an excellent cook and passionate about cuisine. -10 years experience in high end dining. -Catering experience is a plus. -Culinary degree is a plus. -Follow through with commitments. -Proficient in word, google docs and calendars -Great communicator -We love to cook and please our clients, looking forward to meeting you! - Competitive hourly for the right Chef!
