Wanted: People who are comfortable being on roofs and in attics We are a local high end construction company that specializes in skylight and tube skylight projects. We service Sonoma, Marin, Napa, Lake, and Solano Counties. We aim to keep our customers happy with the finest skylight systems, remodeling services, and other energy saving products in the world.Our installers have completed a rigorous training program to assist our clients in choosing the right products for their needs. We promise our customers that when they work with us they will get expert advice, a careful and professional installation, and an easy and enjoyable experience. We are committed to quality and unparalleled customer service in all aspects of our business, and want our clients to be able to trust that their skylights and roofs stay leak free. We are seeking to fill three possible types of positions: 1. No Experience (employee position) If you have no experience with skylight or roofing work, we are seeking eager and pleasant installation assistants. Duties include: Helping installers move large skylights and get them on roofs Setting up ladders, putting down protective tarps, setting up tools Cleaning & vacuuming dust and construction debris during and after jobs Going to the store to get materials Organizing the storage locker, receiving deliveries, dump runs Able to use phone applications or ipad and navigate our electronic system for notes/job status, etc (will train) Tools provided Pay: $15-20 starting DOE This position is generally Monday-Friday 7/8AM - 3/4PM Later hours in winter because of slippery roof conditions 9am-5pm This position can turn into a training position to become an installer 2. Handy-person or some construction experience (employee position) If you have experience in construction but don’t have your class B license and your own truck (we may be able to provide a company truck) Duties include: Installing tubular skylights and solar attic fans Working on roofs and in attics Going through our training process and following our procedures Able to use phone applications or ipad and navigate our electronic system for notes/job status, etc (will train) Tools can be provided or personally owned. Specialty tools will be reimbursed Pay: $35-50 DOE This position is generally Monday-Friday 7/8AM - 3/4PM Later hours in winter because of slippery roof conditions 9am-5pm You can work less than 40 hours a week if wanted For example, if you want to work two days a week, you could. Or if you don’t want to exceed 4-6 hour per day, that’s ok too. 3. Class B General Contractor (independent contractor position) Must be: Fully licensed and bonded in the state of California Carry own Liability insurance If you have employees, carry own Workers Comp Insurance Must have own truck and tools Duties: Installation of tubular skylights, solar attic fans, skylight replacements DOE full skylight cut in- new skylights Go through our training and follow our installation procedures Able to use phone applications or ipad and navigate our electronic system for notes/job status, etc (will train) You let us know your schedule and we try to fill it with jobs We take care of advertising, paperwork, billing, procuring products, storage We partner with you to get you to get jobs estimated and completed. You provide excellent customer service and workmanship You let us know how many hours in the day you want to work Some types of jobs are 2 hour jobs, some are 6-8 hour jobs, and some are several day projects Pay $75-100 per hour DOE We expect our employees and affiliates to maintain a calm and professional demeanor at all times. We will not tolerate disrespect of the office staff or other installers or affiliates.
