Maintenance / Facilities / Beach Assistance Dillon Beach Resort is a 55-acre site in West Marin County. The property is currently home to a private beach and accompanying beach parking lot and restrooms, three seaside cabins, a 25-unit RV park, a general store, restaurant, and surf shop. We are looking for a person who wants to work at the beach and be a jack of all trades AKA Mcgiver from maintenance, carpentry, landscaping, sand moving and management, helping our beach parking team, cleaning and janitorial skills to help maintain the property and help it progress. During certain busy times, the property may require extra housekeeping help as well. We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, can multitask, work independently, take instructions, and follow a project through to its completion. The new hire will report directly to the Director of Operations and Onsite Management Team. They must be flexible and have the ability to complete projects that evolve as the needs of the property change. This is a unique position where you will be independent most of the time and have spur-of-the-moment tasks. JOB REQUIREMENTS: · Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand, walk, lift, carry, bend, squat, kneel and climb with no restrictions - frequent bending/standing is a physical requirement · Professional, polite, and friendly. Occasional customer interaction. · Comfortable working outside in cold/hot climates · Must have a valid driver's license Sample Work: AS NEEDED Fencing and Gates: Maintaining perimeter fences, upgrades as needed. Landscaping: perimeter plantings along fences, around structures. Irrigation: helping maintain perennial landscape watering systems. Moving Materials: salvaging lumber, scrap metals. Tractor Work: beach, sand, and general property maintenance. Cleaning of the exterior of buildings and window washing. Janitorial, cleaning, and daily trash removal. Assists with housekeeping on the maintenance of cabins. On-the-spot repairing of onsite equipment. General knowledge of plumbing, electric, carpentry, finishing, painting, woodworking, and landscaping is necessary. Please inquire with any further questions.
