We are confident that our skilled and experienced employees will achieve just that. POSITION SUMMARY: We seek a highly motivated and fast learning Facilities Technician. The technician will ensure workplace health/safety requirements are met and take responsibility for the security of our various locations. This individual is also responsible for maintaining facilities and equipment, doing minor to major facilities repairs, and coordinating and tracking vendor repairs and maintenance to facilities. The Facilities Technician will also assist in receipt, storage, and dispatch of inventory goods as assigned. He or she will see that productivity targets are met and oversee the maintenance of the warehouse. This position will require periodic travel as needed across all 5 BATS Branches in Northern California. FACILITIES POSITION DUTIES: • Performing minor to major facilities repairs: electrical, HVAC, janitorial, cosmetic repairs • Stocking facilities • Maintenance inspections of facilities for safety hazards and regulation requirements. • Creating Facilities SOP’s • Using technology to streamline and track processes • Maintaining relationships with Vendors • Coordinating facilities Repairs • Tracking facility repairs • Tool inventory • Create and Track Purchase Orders • Purchasing as directed • Process improvement • Equipment Repairs • Other duties as assigned WAREHOUSE POSITION DUTIES: • Planning, coordinating, and monitoring the receipt, order assembly and dispatch of goods within the day and night shift. • Efficient utilization of space, hand tools and mechanical handling equipment, ensuring quality, budgetary targets and environmental objectives are met. • Keeping stock control and ensuring inventory accuracy. • Motivating, organizing, and encouraging teamwork within the workforce to ensure productivity targets are met or exceeded. • Deliver/pick up rental equipment, traffic control equipment, towable equipment, no parking signs as directed. • Provide support to the inventory department as needed. • PPE Equipment distribution and properly request equipment for re-stock. • Perform inventory of the required equipment allocated on every truck as needed. • Keep towable equipment fully functional and in good operating conditions. • Sign fabrication. • Other duties as assigned WHAT YOU NEED TO BE AMAZING AT B.A.T.S: • Bilingual (English/Spanish) • Valid CA Driver’s License and clear driving history • Forklift certification preferred. Minimum 1-year experience • Full knowledge of Microsoft Office • Previous experience in mass inventory assessment • Strong verbal, writing, and math skills • Excellent multi-tasking ability and time management skills • Ability to multi-task efficiently • Basic electrical and HVAC knowledge • Janitorial/Building maintenance knowledge • Process oriented • Can-do positive attitude! • Good typing skills • Strong problem-solving skills • Great organizational skills • Geographical knowledge of the local and extended Bay Area • Auto Mechanical Knowledge • Ability to lift 50 pounds If interested, you can send your resume direct thru Craigslist Reply!
