SALEM, MA — The Salem Arts Association is hoping some good music and good beer will help get more residents and visitors into the arts this fall.
As part of the Artoberfest exhibition, the association will host an Artoberfest event on Oct. 2 at the Salem Maritime Historic Site lawn featuring a lineup of musicians and craft beer.
Artoberfest will run from noon to 7 p.m. with free admission. Attendees are encouraged to check out the art exhibits at the association galleries at 159 Derby Street throughout the day.
The bands North of Trouble, the Sarah Blacker Trio, DubTone All-Stars and Local 148 are scheduled to appear.
Notch Brewing is among the sponsors of the craft beer festival, along with Salem Gnu Kitchen, Mercury Tavern and the All Souls Lounge, which will also feature food and performance art.
