Come fill your very own jar of honey at our Hive to Honey Workshop which will be held on Friday, September 24, 2021, at 4:30pm! Time to reap the fruit of our labor with this very hands-on honey extraction workshop. Our beekeeper from Alvéole will assist you over the course of this fun-filled hour as you uncap honeycomb cells, hand-spin honeycombs in the centrifugal extractor, and filter the raw honey before jarring and labelling it all. BONUS: Take your filled jar of honey home with you! This workshop will be located at the farm and will last about an hour. The workshop is FREE but registration is required (limit 15 people). Note: Masks are required Conscious Connections Inc. is a nonprofit that provides educational programming and operates an urban farm located in Wilmington, Delaware. We are passionate about serving our community with increased opportunities for learning and access to fresh food. Through our community outreach efforts, a safe place for youth has been created where we nurture creativity, ingenuity, and self empowerment.
