This position is Monday-Friday This shift will be 3:30am-12:00pm Paid Weekly Gensco, Inc. is a successful HVAC wholesale distributor and manufacturer doing business in the Northwest for over 70 years. A Class A Driver will perform assigned warehouse and delivery duties in a safe, friendly manner, keep the warehouse and equipment safe and clean, and maintain a positive, helpful attitude toward fellow Team Members and customers. Duties and Responsibilities: Provide excellent customer service by treating all customers fairly and honestly Accurately write and pull customer orders Resolve customer service issues by the end of the following business day Using proper equipment and lifting techniques, quickly and accurately pull product for customer orders and/or branch transfers from warehouse shelves Package product for shipment according to Gensco standards Load delivery trucks and trailers according to Gensco standards Operate a delivery truck to deliver and unload product at customer facilities Make multiple deliveries in one day Always collect money/payment from customers for COD deliveries. Inspect truck to verify safe operation, work in a safe manner, and follow appropriate procedures Operate a truck with a gross vehicle weight of 30,000 to 60,000 lbs. to deliver, unload and return product at customers or other Gensco facilities Must have knowledge of local, state, and federal laws concerning the operation of commercial vehicles Skills/Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required Minimum MUST HAVE a Class A license and clean driving record Regularly and repetitively lift 50 pounds and frequently lift 75 pounds, using proper lifting technique Able to move freely about the facility, climb stairs, stoop, bend, kneel, stand and walk for extended periods of time up to and over 8 hours a day Able to read customer orders, transfer, and stock numbers Able to use all types of warehouse equipment including, but not limited to, hand trucks, pallet jacks, forklifts, ladders, order pickers bar code readers, etc. Able to use an electronic calculator, computer, and other business equipment Able to work at heights up to 30 feet Able to handle multiple activities Able to work alone and in teams Possesses excellent attention to detail For consideration, please apply online at www.gensco.com/careers Gensco is a drug free company and EOE
