Press release from the New Horizons Domestic Violence Services: Sept. 17, 2021 Save the date! This October, New Horizons Domestic Violence Services and the Middletown Police Department will once again join forces to host the seventh annual Walk to End the Silence during Domestic Violence Awareness Month. For the safety of our community, this year's festivities will be held virtually. But we do have something special planned: Pledge a donation and then walk along a designated Walk to End the Silence walking path, either on your own or with your close family and friends, in Middletown or on the Shoreline.Registration details and walking path locations will be announced soon. Then mark your calendars and join us for a virtual program on Oct. 24. Last year, we surpassed our fundraising goal and raised funds to support survivors in New Horizons' care thanks to our community's generosity. We hope you'll join us again! To inquire about sponsorship opportunities, contact Stephanie Ivers Heine at [email protected].
