MERCER COUNTY, NJ — A 37-year-old Trenton man was shot and killed early on Friday morning, Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. Onofri said. The Mercer County Homicide Task Force and the Trenton Police Department are investigating the shooting.
According to Onofri, around 12:53 a.m., on Sept. 17, Trenton police were dispatched to a home on Race Street on a report of an unresponsive man. Officers found Jeff Charles of Trenton with gunshot wounds, Onofri said. Charles was pronounced dead.
The investigation is ongoing, and no arrests have been made.
