HOUSTON, TX — Three women from Texas were charged with misdemeanor assault after attacking a hostess at a New York City restaurant Thursday after she asked for proof of COVID-19 vaccination, according to the New York Police Department. The women, two from Humble and one from Houston, repeatedly punched the hostess's face and broke her necklace, New York police confirmed to Patch. New York City restaurants are required to ask for proof of vaccination for any customers dining indoors. Live in Houston?
