Press release from the Baton Rouge Area Chamber: September 16, 2021 When asked how they would vote if the election were held the day of the survey, respondents tallied as follows: Yes: 57%  No: 31% Undecided: 12% When asked to give their opinion about the CATS system, there is a substantial difference of opinion depending on whether the poll respondent uses the CATS system. In general, its "excellent" + "good" rating exceeds its "poor" rating by a 29-18% margin. Those using the CATS bus system, however, have a muchmore favorable impression: 59-20% "excellent"/"good" vs "poor." The primary election will take place on November 13, and early voting will begin on October 30.
