TEMECULA, CA — Investigators with the Southwest Sheriff's Station are hoping the public can help track down a man wanted in connection with a Temecula bank robbery.
On Friday, the sheriff's department released surveillance images of the suspect and his vehicle. The man shown is suspected of holding up Pacific Western Bank on Ynez Road around 4:50 p.m. September 10.
The man is described by investigators as possibly Hispanic; in his 60s; about 5-feet, 7-inches tall; and weighing approximately 160 pounds. During the robbery, he was wearing a camouflage jacket and blue jeans, according to the sheriff's department.
The suspect entered the bank, brandished a handgun, and demanded money from the clerk. After the money was handed over, he left in a greenish 2005 Subaru Outback, according to the sheriff's department.
There were no reports of injuries.
