BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — Fall is fast approaching, and not everyone is holding onto the final days of summer. In fact, some folks are jumping head first into pumpkin spice season. Though some of the events in this week's roundup are fall themed, others can serve as a reprieve from the fact that cooler temperatures are approaching. Without further ado, here's what to do in Bergen County this weekend: Ridgewood Fall Craft and Art Street Fair The Ridgewood Fall Craft and Art Street Fair is ready to take over East Ridgewood Avenue this weekend. This year's edition of the year, scheduled for Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., is slated to line the street with plenty over 195 vendors, according to PJ's Promotions. Also present at the fair will be a "large food section." The event will be held rain or shine, and admission onto the street where it's taking place is free. Teaneck Celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month With Community Mural "Sí se puede!" is the message Councilman Michael Pagan wants to communicate to Teaneck residents this weekend. The phrase, which translates to "yes we can" in English, will be sprawled across the Richard Rodda Center's parking lot this Sunday, in honor of Hispanic Heritage Month. The Township of Teaneck, in collaboration with Unidos Para Teaneck, will reveal the mural painting at the community center on Sunday, Sept. 19 at 2:30 p.m. The words "sí se puede" have already been outlined in the parking lot, but this Sunday, residents are welcome to grab paint rollers and fill in the letters themselves. Saddle Brook Food Truck and Music Fest A food truck and music festival is set for Saturday in Saddle Brook, an event which will benefit St. Philip the Apostle's Church. According to an event listing, the festival will feature 20 gourmet food trucks and live music from three bands. Of course, nothing goes better with good food and live music than a cold drink. Also included at the festival is a beer, margarita and sangria garden. Bergen County Fall Harvest Festival Temperatures are cooling down, sweaters are being taken out of the deepest depths of closets, and pumpkin spice is back at Starbucks. Though it isn't quite official yet, fall is almost here. In accordance with the celebration of the season, Bergen County's Fall Harvest Festival is back for 2021, with three days of crafts, animals and carnival rides slated for this weekend in Paramus. Starting Friday, the festival will be held at Van Saun County Park, 216 Forest Ave., in Paramus. Parking and event admission is free. In addition to the craft fair and carnival rides, this year's festival features a farmers market, animals, live music, face painting, pumpkin picking, entertainment, food trucks, 4-H and master gardener exhibits, as well as "hands on activities for kids and adults."
