ELMHURST, IL - A carjacking took place Friday morning at a local convenience store, with men holding up the driver at gunpoint, according to an Elmhurst police news release.
The incident took place at 8:45 a.m. at 7-Eleven, 572 S. York St., police said.
Police said they determined that four men occupying a black Porsche Cayenne SUV pulled in the store's parking lot as the victim was entering his parked car. One of the men got out of the Porsche and approached the victim with a black handgun, the report said.
The suspect then demanded the driver's car and key fob and entered the driver's seat of the car, police said. The drivers of the victim's car and Porsche sped away, police said.
The abandoned vehicle was recovered by Chicago police in the 6800 block of South Wabash Avenue.
The suspect with the handgun was described as black, in his late teens to early 20s, having a thin build, and wearing a black surgical mask and a black shirt.
The second suspect was described as black, in his late teens to early 20s, having a thin build, and wearing a black surgical mask and a black sweatshirt.
The police had no descriptions for the other two men.
