Freelance Event Production : Innovative event production company seek freelance event production professionals. Our full scope of services includes comprehensive solutions for corporate and social event decor and event rentals. Nights and weekends are required, candidates should expect a variable schedule based on show site needs. This position is based in St. Petersburg, although travel may be required. An outgoing professional personality, industry experience and knowledge of event decor, draping and lighting preferred. We are looking for an individual who works well in a team but is also self-motivated. Candidate needs to be able to maintain a professional demeanor at all times. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES Onsite Implementation of Event Rentals( Furniture, linens, floral, drape and lighting) Provide design ideas and solutions during on-site setup. Interface and support Project Managers and Clients Oversee Safe transport of equipment to and from events DESIRED CHARACTERISTICS 2+ years of Special Event experience in theater, TV, and/or event staging. Ability to operate forklift, scissor lift and 16'-26' trucks. CDL a HUGE plus! The ideal candidate should have previous experience working conferences, weddings, galas, and other corporate events. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently, troubleshoot and problem solve Ability to collaborate and coordinate Professional maturity, integrity, discipline and a positive attitude Be flexible to event needs and adaptable to site circumstances.
