GLENDORA, CA — The Glendora Police Department is hoping residents walking their dogs can be the agency's extra set of eyes and ears.
The department announced Thursday it's launching Dog Walker Watch, a program that trains residents to be on the lookout for suspicious activity whenever they're out with their four-legged friend.
"The program enhances the partnership between police and community while providing resources for neighbors to be more aware and how to effectively observer and report suspicious activity," the department said.
Glendora police will hold a Zoom meeting Wednesday, at 6 p.m., to provide an in-depth overview of the program. Anyone with questions regarding the program or the meeting can contact Community Services Officer Nita Ulloa by email or at 626-914-8268.
