We are a Family Owned and Sarasota based High-End Carpentry Company looking for Experienced and Junior level finish/trim carpenter. Some previous High-End trim and finish work is a plus but not necessary. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: • Scribe moldings to allow for proper fitting on even or uneven surfaces • Reading and interpreting construction plans, diagrams, and blueprints for Carpentry projects. • Overseeing the levelling and trimming of windows and doors using tools like power sanders and planers. • Carry out the construction of cabinets or built-in bookshelves. Installing crown molding and trims for doors, windows, and baseboards. • Taking measurements of wood materials to be used for a carpentry project to establish the dimensions suitable for the work. • Installing add-ons, such as knobs, hinges, and handles onto finished structures. • A major requirement of this job is physical strength necessary for handling heavy work materials and tools. • Must be able to work unsupervised and in a timely manner. • You will need all your basic traditional hand tools for your trade, all power and specialty tools will be provided onsite. • Must have good communication skills and able to communicate with our Clients. • Must have a clean driving license and your own vehicle to get to and from work. Compensation based on skills.
