Press release from the University of Alaska Anchorage: September 17, 2021 2021 UAA Annual Accreditation/Assessment SeminarPreparing for the Mid-Cycle VisitFriday, Sept. 17, 2021 via Zoom9–11 a.m. This year's annual seminar will focus on preparing for the Oct. 7-8 NWCCU Mid-Cycle Evaluation site visit. Chancellor Parnell and Provost Runge will kick off the session with a welcome and, along with the accreditation tri-chairs and the Accreditation Advisory Committee, will guide us through reflections about UAA's Mid-Cycle Evaluation. To prepare, think of examples and stories that demonstrate how your program or unit 1) integrates or plans to integrate the core competencies into your work; 2) closes the loop on assessment and uses the results to improve student learning and achievement; 3) uses or plans to use the disaggregated student achievement data in your decision-making and resource-allocation processes in order to close equity gaps.
