Total Compensation Package · Competitive Salary · Flexible Five-Day Week · Paid Vacation Qualifications · High school diploma or GED · Previous restaurant manager, supervisor, or team lead experience · Must have a strong skill set in all areas of the restaurant/bar and the ability to multitask with a sense of urgency. · Must possess leadership presence with staff, and influence and integrity with peers and owner. · Must be willing to step up and work through conflict for the mutual benefit of all involved. · Must have an honest, yet sensitive communication style. · Must be an ambassador of The Black Diamond Grill with our guests and among the public. · Must have good hygiene and a professional appearance. · Must have excellent organizational skills. · Training in food safety; maintaining safety and food quality standards · Availability to work a flexible schedule and long shift (e.g., days, nights, weekends, holidays) · Financial literacy · Ability to keep inventory organized · Understanding of federal, state, and local regulations that impact our industry. · Ability to operate POS (point of sale) systems, back-of-house systems, and restaurant operating systems. · Experience working in a hands-on, fast paced, casual high volume environment · Experience mentoring and training hourly team members Position Requirements Recruit, interview, hire, train, develop, and coach new and existing employees Fully perform all BOH (Back of House) and FOH (Front of House) duties Coach, mentor and develop staff as well as on-board and provide honest evaluations Maintain professional operation concerning food control, safety, guest service among BOH and FOH employees consistent with Black Diamond Grill’s reputation and standards Handle guest issues promptly and professionally Assist Bartenders and Servers with secured POS functions to expedite guest checkout Ensure staff is following all food control and safety regulations Maintain accurate track of employees' hours and perform employee checkouts. Record data. Adhere to established inventory and recipes for both prepared and purchased menu items Maintain high standards for FOH and BOH cleaning standards and verifying staff is maintaining these sanitation standards.
