Cambridge, MA--The Cambridge Matignon School announced today the establishment of The Cambridge Arts Academy. Exclusive to students who attend Matignon, The Cambridge Arts Academy (CAA) will provide advanced instruction in artistic tracks such as performing arts, dance, vocal and instrumental performance, and visual arts from renowned instructors through innovative and intensive workshops and experimental programming to complement the school’s experiential college preparatory approach. The Cambridge Arts Academy is the newest component of the experiential, project-based curriculum offered by the private school in Cambridge formerly known as Matignon High School. Beginning in the 2022-23 school year, the CAA will offer a Performing Arts track in partnership with American Repertory Theater at Harvard University. A.R.T. at Matignon will foster the theater skills and artistic identity for emerging youth artists to hone their skills and become creative leaders.Learn more about CAA and A.R.T. at Matignon at matignon.org/caa/.  The school will also host in-person Open Houses on October 3rd and November 4th for students interested in the Cambridge Arts Academy or the Cambridge Matignon School’s general academic programming.  Individuals can register for the Open Houses at matignon.org/OpenHouse or contact the school’s Admissions Office at 617-876-1212 x11. Building toward the robust and intensive learning programs to be offered in the 2022-23 academic year, A.R.T. at Matignon will offer a series of workshops beginning this fall for prospective students and the general public from grades 8 through 12 at Matignon on select Sundays from 2 PM to 5 PM beginning October 3 at 2 PM.
