Bass/guitar player seeks interesting project

Multi- instrumentalist seeking interesting project. I play bass, guitar, & some keys. I'm looking to create some original material to play gigs as well as record. I have recording gear, tons of equipment (PA systems, drums, guitar stack, bass stack, Keyboard, Mics, etc) & a place to rehearse. My last band used to rehearse 3 times/wk and it was just too much for me, I have a family w 5 kids, but I can do one or maybe two nights a week no problem. My musical influences are all over the spectrum, no real set genre in mind. I definitely DON'T want to play strictly metal, but I don't mind some heavy stuff now and again. I really want to do something different, it seems like everyone seems to be doing the same old tired blues, covers, or metal these days. It'd be nice to hook up with some like-minded people and create some cool jams. I've been playing for most of my life (39/M) but experience isn't really a factor here.
