Pacific Tank Cleaning Services is looking for motivated people to join our team. Positions are available First, and Second shifts. Apply in person at 751 Design Court Suite A, Chula Vista, California, 91911, Monday through Friday between 8AM and 1100AM. Current Openings: General Labor; Applicants will assist in the setting up and breaking down of equipment and hoses aboard vessels for the following evolutions / operations; Oil and Fuel flushing, Acid Flushing and Cleaning, Hydro-blasting Operations, Gas Free Certifications, Bilge Cleaning Operations, Borescope inspections, Pipe Cleaning, Pipe Clearing, Drain and Dispose Services, and Tank Cleaning; Black water, Gray Water, Potable Water, Fuel, Oil, Ballast Tanks, Waste oil tanks, and other tanks, voids or confined spaces. Project Manager; Successful hires will assist the Production Manager in coordinating support aboard ships with lead trades, maintain records, track and report personnel man-hours, track, report work schedules, and progress of job completion. Will be expected to attend daily production meetings, and represent the company at the job site. Driver, Class A with Hazmat and Tank endorsements; Driver will assist Production Department by hauling waste water, fuels and other hazardous wastes to the proper disposal facilities, as well as normal production department work. Normal production work includes transporting personnel and company equipment / material to job sites. In addition to routine vehicle inspections, driver will be required to take vehicles to CHP facilities to accomplish quarterly inspections. Applicants must have current: California Class "A" Driver's License. Combined Tank Endorsement. Hazardous Material Endorsement, including TSA letter of clearance. California DMV report with clean driving history, Medical Clearance, and all supporting paperwork. Safety is a primary concern in the ship yard environment, applicants will be required to attend OSHA 10 hour, Maritime Class on Ship Yard Safety. Applicants must be able to obtain credentials for access to the Naval Station, (DBIDS), and area ship yards including repair facilities. PacTank is a 24 hour / 7 Day a Week service provider. 1st shift hours are from; 6 AM to 2:30 PM, 2nd; 2 PM to 10:30 PM, and 3rd; 10 PM to 6:30 AM. Additional info: Skills / certifications beneficial, but not required include: California Driver's License, Spanish speaking (Bi-lingual), SYCP certified, 10 Hour OSHA or S2P2, or HAZWPR. PacTank traditionally works at the local ship yards and the naval facilities in the area. Pay rate will depend on level of experience. PacTank will train personnel with the exception of truck driver qualifications. Safety is a primary concern in the ship yard environment, applicants will be required to attend OSHA 10-hour Maritime Class on Ship Yard Safety. Applicants must be able to obtain credentials for access to the Naval Station, (DBIDS), and area ship yards including repair facilities.
