Hiring a Paid Tenor Singer for Choir

St. Mark's Episcopal Church in South Austin is hiring a Tenor Section leader for our choir. Total pay for the academic year of $3,000 to $3,500 with opportunities for continuing pay in the summer. Prior choral singing experience is required. The position requires the ability to sight read printed choral music and to model vocal production for untrained singers. Wednesday evening rehearsal: 7:00-8:30 p.m. Sunday morning warm-up and service: 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Cantoring approximately once a month for 9:00 a.m. Sunday service Additional rehearsals and services surrounding the holy seasons of Advent, Christmas, and Easter. The pay is $35 per call, averaging $315 per month. Total pay for the academic year will be $3,000 to $3,500 depending on your availability. All employees and worship volunteers of St. Mark’s Church must be fully-vaccinated against COVID-19.
