City Home is seeking an experienced warehouse associate for our retail furniture store. Our Warehouse team is responsible for receiving inventory, moving furniture, assembling furniture, packing items to be shipped or delivered, and many other tasks. Potential candidates should be reliable, self-motivated and organized. Responsibilities: Ability to move and/or lift 75+ pounds. Unload trucks, Receive and assemble furniture shipments. Quality check all incoming inventory and outgoing purchases. Assist our sales team and floor merchandisers by moving furniture and hanging lighting as necessary. Help customers safely load furniture into their vehicles. Safely pack items to be shipped. Must be able to follow instructions, work independently, and in groups. Must know how to safely lift and move delicate furniture. Basic hand tool and power tool knowledge. City Home offers paid public parking or public transit passes.
