Description
Job Description: The Glazier Assistant will get on the job training to learn the techniques of installing shower doors, mirrors, and shelving. No experience is required this position. They will assist an experienced glazier in the installation and clean-up of various glass and shelving applications. This includes driving to job sites, loading/unloading various tools & equipment, and helper duties, as needed, which may include cross training in related positions. The right candidate can be trained for a career in the Glazing Industry.
Job Requirements:
- Preferred applicants will have a high school diploma/GED or equivalent.
- Preferred applicants will hold a Regular Operator (Class D) driving license and be able to maintain a clean driving record.
- Applicant must be physically able to lift heavy glass and other materials on a regular basis.
- Applicant must be able to listen to and follow instructions and be able to work well with others.
Job Salary & Benefits:
- Normal Working Days/Shift: Weekdays/First
- Between 30-40 hours per week
