Job description Full time Warehouse/Shipping Personnel is needed for a sporting goods distribution and manufacturer located in Gardena, CA. Candidate is responsible for building product orders for outgoing shipments in an accurate and safe manner, inventory control and organizing the warehouse. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Assembles customer orders from stock and prepares orders on pallets and for Fed/Ex or UPS parcel shipments. Verifies merchandise documentation and pulls orders accurately by part and quantity. Organizes and places merchandise on racks, shelves, according to pre-determined sequence. Arranges stock parts in specified sequence for assembly by other workers. Check in stock and have the ability to lift boxes up to 60 lbs. EDUCATION High School Diploma/GED REQUIRED SKILLS Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to understand and carry out instructions furnished in written oral or diagram form. Ability to drive forklift a plus.
