Job description We are a staffing agency looking for a sweeper for a food manufacturing warehouse in Vernon. A stable food related manufacturing company is seeking to bring on some IMMEDIATE help doing sweeping and general warehouse work. - You will be on your feet most of the day, constantly in motion, and covered in dust. So, if getting dirty is a problem, this job is not for you. -You will at times need to sweep and reach in confined spaces - You must have some experience working in a warehouse environment - Be punctual - Be professional with great communication skills -Be able to lift up to 50lb if necessary - Speak and understand basic English Experience in janitorial work or utility work is a huge plus! - Job starts as a 1st shift position from 7am to 3:30pm but can eventually transition to other shifts later on. -This job will start off temporary but the right candidate will be hired on by the company if it is a mutually good fit. - *** Please note: this is a NON-SMOKING facility.
