You do not need to be in perfect health or shape to get started. First step is to do an evaluation and figure out what works best for you. Option 1 - 100% Online only, no in-person sessions. Training and Coaching will be done through email, text and video calls. Level 1 includes custom workout routines, weekly schedule & training log, meal/diet plans & food logs. Option 2 - 80% Online, 20% in person. Everything from Option 1 plus 1 in-person session per week. Option 3 - 60% Online, 40% in person. Everything from Option 1 plus 2 in-person sessions per week. Option 4 - Full In person weekly sessions, includes everything from Option 1. Training Focus Areas we will use to achieve your goals: Strength Training - Strength training focuses on one of or a combination of the following: building muscle, increasing strength, increasing muscle endurance, and body sculpting. You won’t need big expensive equipment; most training can be done with body weight exercises or with minimal equipment (resistance bands, dumbbells, etc.). For more advanced or intense workouts more equipment or access to a full gym will be needed. Cardio Training - Cardiovascular (Cardio) training, is a form of exercise that elevates the heart and breathing rate. Benefits of cardio training include: a healthier heart, improved recovery from many illnesses, increases in bone density, increases in stamina and endurance. Cardio is also one of the best forms of exercise to burn calories, lose fat and stay in shape. Injury Rehab - Rehabilitation (Rehab) is when you have had a recent or ongoing injury, or you have had a recent surgery and you want to get back to your pre-injury/surgery condition. The purpose of Injury Rehab is to help with the repair and prevention of further injury. Rehab for post-surgery is in most cases re-training and strengthening the muscles/joints/tendons etc. associated with the surgery. Flexibility & Balance - Flexibility training involves activities that aim to stretch your muscles until they are loosened up, and your body becomes more relaxed and limber. Engaging in flexibility exercises regularly will provide you with more freedom of movement, which in turn will help any balance issues (ie. such as favoring a certain leg when walking or core out of alignment etc.). Diet & Meal Plans - Dieting is not crash or fad diets, dieting is what you eat, when you eat it, and how you eat it. Dieting should be simple and include foods that you like, are not expensive, and easy to make. Meal Planning is important because it will help you to see what foods make you feel good and what foods make you feel slow, sluggish, or bloated. We provide not only lists of recommended foods but also how to track what you eat and how you felt. This is just a brief overview of the types of personal training programs we can customize for you.
