Description: Custom harvester is seeking a full-time/year-round mechanic/driver. As a mechanic your duties will include preventative maintenance on vehicles, combines, tractors, and other mechanical work as assigned. In the driver role, you will be operating grain truck, tractors, and semi-trucks. Travel is required from June to November during harvest season. On-the-job training will be provided, and independent work is standard practice after training. Other duties may be assigned (such as building spraying systems, welding, etc) Qualifications: - Driver license is required. - CDL preferred. - Basic mechanical experienced. - Experience with farm equipment preferred. - No smoking on property or in fields. - We are located in Pratt, Kansas and the new employee is expected to re-locate or have a reasonable commute during the off-season (Early November to May). Hours/Salary - Monthly Salary: $3,000 – $3,600 based on experience and CDL. - November to May: 30- 35 hours per week. - Required: travel from June – November, housing provided, hours are weather dependent. Initial benefits: - On-the-job training for the right candidate. - If you do not have a CDL, training and eventual reimbursement for passing both written and driving with a salary increase will occur. - Housing provided during harvest season. - Additional benefits as you grow with the company. About Us: Black Falcon Enterprises is family owned and operate since 1964. We custom cut various crops from Texas to the Canadian border during harvest season (that runs from June to early November).
