Need a large bed and mattress moved from Lansdowne to Rockville Maryland early in morning between 5am - 7am. 1 hour trip each way. - Mattress we pick up is on second floor of house, we will have to bring down together to load onto pickup truck. - Delivery location is on 3rd floor of apartment. Must have your own pickup truck of course. Earlier the better 5am ideally I want to knock out task early in morning, I have super busy day, so need this task complete so I can work on several other related tasks. (I live an hour south, Lansdowne is my second house). You will need to show your Drivers License to me, no work starts without that. Whoever does that work I have follow up work Monday 6am - 6pm clearing out a basement myself with a helper for $300 (and a nice BIG TIP if the work quality is great) and I treat for dinner at end. Tasks include: - lots of box moves from basement to upstairs second floor of house - rearranging lots of lumber and various shelves - if weather is good, an hour of yard work - a trip to the local dump or 2 with all trash we take out of basement and yard I have used CraigsList successfully for dozens of jobs for past 15 years and hundreds of hours of work! People that prove their quality and hard work on first job get MORE WORK SEVERAL TIMES A YEAR. My Lansdowne place needs LOT of gig, handyman and hauling jobs every year. Drivers license is mandatory because I have been disappointed by first time workers including : - stolen from twice (stole tools from house, stole electrical supplies to be installed). - truck tire blowouts/flats after I kindly filled up their gas tank, and tried to hit me up to replace tire still did less work than promised because unreliable vehicle thus work had to be finished by someone else. - broke job into two parts because of weather or "family emergency", then did not finish job later in day/next day. - found excuse to not finish work but expected pay as if work was 100% complete. - dumped trash in public areas, not dump when trash was hauled. The commonality in each case the person doing the work had a prior record of traffic issues, petty crimes, etc.) so I will never hire anyone without seeing a Drivers License, will use to quickly check driving record, no suspended license, and no DUI history. Also will do quick criminal history check (quick, less than 5 mins).
